secretsundaze 017 comes from london based producer endian. releasing just 2 eps in a few years on nonplus and electric minds, endian has nevertheless managed to to turn the heads of the likes of steffi who used one of his tracks for her panorama bar compilation and boddika who also licensed a track for a various artists ep. sounding like a producer far more experienced than the two releases would indicate, it came as no surprise that this is far from the the output of a novice but the seasoned veteran george levings aka commix (metalheadz).

available on vinyl (limited to 200 copies, no repress). release number eight on telefonplan is an all family affair. joining mad mats & toolis team of artists is swedish producer wiz andreas saag. mr saag has taken the leap from local talk and now makes his debut on telefonplan. opening track justice is dark, deep and with a sumptuous bass to sink your teeth into. it is rough and punchy with a clever vocal sample that almost works like a chant. justice comes in two versions, for those of you who like your song instrumental we have made sure your wish is granted too, it still got enough intensity about it without losing the pulsating heaviness. on the flipside, call of yacuma could be described as a grittier and stripped down version of andreas previous local talk track in the box. it is pure simplicity and groove makes it simply irresistible. listening to these tracks it is clear mr saag has been influenced by living in berlin these past years. both justice and call of yacuma wouldnt sound out of place in a dark club with a big soundsystem late at night. just make sure you get past the bouncer while entering the club.

for the dataphysix fans and trainspotters here finally on vinyl! one of the tracks that has been played by heinrich mueller 2 years ago in a special podcast he did for resident advisor. this was one of the unknown tracks and finally it gets an official release. no further info on the producer, just a well produced one sided 12inch with doodles etched in spiral on the b-side. its needles to say there is a limited amount of these.

back at it again, taking the true essence of the �jacking� sound of chicago house and putting it�s own stamp on it is what obsolete music technology has done with their new 12&#8243,, entitled, �volatile.� warbling, wobbling, distorting, sinisterly acidic basslines abound is the best way to describe this release! for dance floors only! you have been warned! �volatile� starts off with some 707 drums intro and then fading in, is this tripped out, bubbling bass sound that sends you off a cliff! just when you think that�s all to the track, dark, melancholic pads comes in for added atmos-fear! rounding out the a-side is �killin,� with it�s 2 acid style basslines, one sounding at a high octave and the other at a lower octave. riffs playing separately sounding great, but when played together, there is something slightly, mentally off. on the b-side, �broken siren� is high energy! 808 tom drums bringing the funky low end while a short, electronic piano lick drenched in warm, fuzzy, flange effect. setting it off is a decayed sine wave, mimicking an actual alarm sound. lastly, �electric current� best describe this distorted acid bassline and its tweaking filter and resonance controls over jacking 808 drums

this time around it s a triple dose of the sort of forward-moving and ready-to-go good times accompaniment. first up is ben houghton from melbourne, australia with do you know a house cut with emotional deep vibes and more than enough of the straightforward percussion and bump required to keep things immediate. following it up is natural late nighter happiness, another housey number but with a smokey mood that just seems to dub itself out as the track keeps moving. at the tail end of the release you ll encounter casazza & kozber an italian-polish producer team that will have you slinking around with the certified lazer-lounge mover twilight all squelches and shimmers, it s a journey from the sunken dancefloor to the mirrored bar and back again.

the fx mchn has unplugged itself from the london housing trust offices just long enough to run off these three documents for narrow gauge. art 2 mouse starts with a gritty, little drum box punching way above its weight before the heavy machinery rolls in for reinforcement. mono life slows the tempo with a close-up shot of the intricate interlocking cogs of an fx mchn track. on the flip side we move to a wider-screen format for a helicopter ride over the oil-drum beats and tribal chants of no place to go .

ovc is from chicago where he has been producing, and playing out electronic stuff in one form or another for like ten years including a lot of gigs and some residencies for example in sonotheque. but it s only the last three or four years hes gotten into the deeper side of techno and recently into the deeper/dubbier techno style, his music is a little raw as he does it all in hardware just live to two-track. he weaves together deep narratives out of a collection of blinking sequencers and drum machines, always assisted by a generous dose of reverb and delay. ovc releases with us on telrea the first 3 tracker we have done. all 3 tracks being on the calmer side of electronic music, rich in depth of sound and motion.

matches sets the scene alight in the early months of 2015 with this multi-faceted four track burner on arkhive london. having cut his teeth on the east london party circuit as a dj under various monikers, matches has carved a superior workout inspired by some of motor citys foremost ambassadors of dark funk. this package is a full expose of his range as a producer, starting out with some early evening swagger before easing through the gears to a climax of an altogether housier ilk.

i am very happy and excited to present the new ep by claudia anderson on singular rec., its her second release on the label and its a real pleasure. she cooked a really varied record once again, liquid forms takes place on a1 and its real voodoo here, the effect of this track is very unique, it�s space and deep, surrounded by many little effects that give such a special result, then comes neutral state, a timeless dub & house feeling, very loopy, that reminded me some stl cuts. be one opens the b� i ve been really sensible to its very sexy percussions play and delayed lead, it transports literally during all the length, its very high quality. to end properly this ep, claudia did a superb ambient cut, everybody knows i love ambient and so here i ve been charmed� its a deep, noisy atmospheric track that close the all perfectly, with simple little percussions that come and go, just what it takes� its a confirmation of all the good i thought about claudias talent, a very subtle, deep and charming record, and i hope you will like it as much as i do! marcelus.

coinciding with the one hundredth anniversary of one of the most surprising works by contemporary icon franz kafka, the metamorphosis (1915), reeko celebrates the novella or adult fairy tale with his own reinterpretation of kafkas controversial narration. the author offers a first person account of the protagonist gregor samsas transmutation, a human just like any other, with a grey, predictable and routine existence. pressing on translucent vinyl.

apart from the rush and hype all around electronic music these days, charmly embraced by the mighty black forrest, is the center of the badnerland, good old freiburg in germany. at first it may be hard to believe that there is more than just sunshine and wine this far south, but you would be surprised by the ever growing request for electronic music in this region. so at this point it just feels right to finally come up with a strong label throughout this exciting movement, you have guessed it: solide.
